2019 Grammy Awards: Kacey Musgraves’ “Golden Hour” Wins album of the year

Country Music sensation Kacey Musgraves was one of the night’s prevalent winners at the 61st edition of the most prestigious night in the realm of music hosted by the “Girl on fire” singer and song writer Alicia Keys, at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Kacey Musgraves scooped the album of the year award for “Golden Hour” ahead of Drake and Cardi B’s nominated albums.

Kacey also won a Grammy award for best country album, best country solo performance (Butterflies) and for best country song “Space Cowboy” Childish Gabino’s “This Is America” won a Grammy for Best song of the year, and the female American rapper Cardi B won the Rap album award for her Invasion of privacy making her the first woman to win a Grammy for best rap album which also doubles as her first Grammy Award since her debut song “Bodak Yellow” as a musician.
