Ugandan fans had enjoyed his hit songs like “Doc Shebeleza” and “Mama I Made it” among others as they played on radio and TV but nothing could ever have matched a live experience of popular South African rapper Cassper Nyovest.
Cassper, real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo, was the headlining act at the MTN Pulse Full Moon Party which took place on Good Friday evening (March 30th, 2018) at Garden City Rooftop in Kampala.
The rapper left Pulsers out of breath in an evening of fun as with his powerful performance as he sang one hit after another.
The highlight of his performance, was when he invited Fik Fameica to join him on stage and together, they performed the Luga-flow rapper’s “Mafia” amidst cheers from the crowd, who were singing along.
Many including the Cassper himself were amazed by the love Ugandans have for his music.
Cassper Nyovest is a good performer. It’s been agreed. Also, more Ugandans love his music than we all thought. Folks are actually singing along.

The well attended concert, was organized by MTN Uganda and Talent Africa.
Right after the concert, Cassper and Fik Fameica jumped into studio to record a remix of the latter’s hit song “Mafia”.
