CELEBRITY BIRTHDAY: Singer Jose Chameleone Turns 39 Today

Legendary Ugandan musician Joseph Mayanja better known by his stage name, Jose Chameleone celebrates his 39th birthday today (April 30,2018). He was born on April 30, 1979.

Chameleone’s music career began in 1997 as a DJ at a nightclub in Kampala while studying at Progressive Secondary School.

Since then, he has established himself as one of East Africa’s finest musicians with bestselling albums such as “Mama Mia”, “Mambo Bado” and “Shida Za Dunia” among others and many hit songs “Valu Valu”, “Badilisha”, “Tubonga”, “Wale Wale”, “Sweet Banana” and the recent “Champion” to mention but a few, in his name.

Jose Chameleone is married to Daniella Atim Mayanja. The couple exchanged vows on of June 7, 2008 in a colourful ceremony that was held at Biina Catholic Church in Mutungo.

They are blessed with five children: Abba Marcus Mayanja, Alfa Joseph Mayanja, Alba Shyne Mayanja, Amma Mayanja and Xara Amani Mayanja.

The Leone Island singer celebrated his birthday at mega star-studded pre-birthday party last Saturday at Cayenne Bar in Kampala.
