How did you end up being a musician?
I love music. I fell in love with music since my day one. I used to sing and dance at school and my friends loved it so much. And as a matter of fact, they still do.
Being a writer, on the other hand, is like doing part of what I love because its music that I am jotting down. My friends are my number one supporters.
When did you start doing music?
I started in 2016 and music has given me a platform to spread myself and also inspire a lot of young youth through music, sports among others.
Which type of music do you do?
I do a fusion of AfroBeat and American Pop.
How many songs do you have?
I have three singles out already Your Love, Never Let Go (feat. Lulu K) and What a Feeling (feat. Cmert Keyz) and I’m soon releasing an album with more tracks.
Besides music what else do you do?
I have a charity program called Sekatawa Foundation which runs once every year when I visit Uganda with friends to help out the youth and the needy
We understand you are a student too. How do you balance work and school?
Yes, I do work and go to school. During my weekends is when I get time to do some music because I don’t go to school over the weekend. Besides, it is at that time when I am having piece of mind after hectic days in school and my music helps to relax me.
Tell us about your educational background?
Well, I have moved to a number of schools like Ndejje SSS, Seroma, Mathews High School and also Howard College, and this shouldn’t get you thinking that I was naughty or badly behaved. It was just happening. I was like a tourist of sort. (Laughs)
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
In five years, I want to be doing World Tours. That is the level of success I want to have achieved at that time and I am working to live that dream.
On which platforms can your fans find your music?
My music can be found on ITunes, Spotify, YouTube and SoundCloud and I will be releasing my first Album on July 26th where in one of the songs on the Album I featured a Ugandan notoriety and award winning gospel artist Exodus.
