‘I am Chozen’ Album review: A Testimony of Chozen Blood’s Life

Patrick Musasizi aka Chozen Blood has been on the Ugandan music scene for a while. Aside his captivating looks, his angelic voice is one of the things that caught attention of many youths. His collabo with Walden titled ‘Pressure ya love’ took over many charts as a strong introduction to Uganda’s music scene and of course his ‘Wadawa’ song with Sheebah is one of the songs that put Chozen Blood on the Ugandan music charts.

In 2019, his ‘Nebakulabako’ was very popular, the audio, visuals and acoustics caught everyone’s attention. Even throughout last year, it was a song that was played at events and hangout places.

This January, Chozen Blood dropped an 11 track album titled ‘I am Chozen’. The album is majorly Afrobeats and it features Zex Bilangilangi, John Blaq, Fik Fameica and Wase Slyvia.

 

The album is clearly a testimony of who he actually is- Chosen. Just like he has been able to produce beautiful music throughout the years, the songs on the album are also well produced, directed and deep lyrical content. It is certain that one or more of the songs on this album will become hit songs for many events and hang out places.
