Veronica Tindichebwa is a renowned comedienne with Fun Factory, actress (stage and film), motivational speaker, professional emcee, TV show host and Radio presenter with K-fm.

MTN Pulse caught up with the mother of three for a brief interview

Here are the excerpts:

When did you join comedy?

2006.

What have been your best moments as a comedian?

When I have a successfully executed skit is a best moment for me.

Which schools did you go to?

I attended Nakasero Primary School, Lohana Academy, Agakhan School, Hillside high school and Namasagali College.

How did you start working on radio?

I was talent searched by the then head of Radio Peter Kaba.

What is it like to be a female radio presenter?

It is an awesome feel being a female it brings balance to issues.

Was being a radio presenter something you wanted to do as a child?

Like I said earlier, I was talent searched not that I had any idea about Radio. I only used to listen to radio as a child but never dreamt of working on one.

What do you usually wear for work?

Am a jeans person. Maybe it’s because I have funny legs (laughs).

Where do you yourself in 5 years?

I want to do lots of things God grant me life, Radio management, film production and looking forward to mentoring near and far for youth projects.

What advice do you have for pulsers that want to work on radio?

Believe in yourself, Radio is powerful but requires, facts, research, honesty and discipline and ethical conduct. You are talking to people of all beliefs and culture so be careful not to hurt anyone at any time.

What I know you can do anything you set out to do. So youths/pulsers need to be more innovative and creative.
