Next Big Star: Meet Ssenyonga, a Steady and Astute Lawyer
Latest News | 2019-07-09
Born in December, 1993, Simon Ssenyonga is a few months shy of his 26th birthday. However, regardless of his young age, he has already started to leave a mark of his name in the legal structures.
From City Parents to Seeta High School and finally Nalya SS where he was Head Prefect, Ssenyonga rose to Makerere University’s School of Law where he embarked on a journey that saw him complete four years to attain a law degree and subsequently a diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC).
Now working with the Centre for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD), he has seen it all. He is an African Moot Court champion, a former guild aspirant at his alma mata and a man of God. A former Campus Remnant, Ssenyonga is now a full time worshipper at Prophet Elvis Mbonye’s church.
With the great strides he has made and hopes to make in the legal structures, Ssenyonga is a lawyer to watch out for in the future. He says his practice is honest and with his Godly background, he hopes to work to ensure that he is not involved in any illicit scandals that may claim to stray him.
He is a believer in human rights and progress and together with colleagues established a leadership foundation that they named SIDAN that helps mentor young people in leadership abilities for a better society. They believe everyone has a lion in them that needs igniting if it’s not already ignited.
You can follow his activities more on his social media by dialing *157 *20# to load daily Pulse Bundles. 100MB + 100MB SWIFT, 50MB + 200MB SWIFT or 150MB at just Shs 1000.
