Last weekend was full of exciting events that were well attended by pulsers.

Here are highlights of some of them in case you missed out:

Azulato Children’s Festival:

The first edition of the Azulato Children’s Festival attracted over 1000 excited children and their families.

The event which took place on May 6th, 2018, make the statement that Kampala families understand the importance of giving their children innovative new ways to learn and develop skills at a young age.

With the vision of promoting active learning and inspiring children to discover new interests and talents, the festival was full of hands-on activities, interactive workshops and live performances offered by a variety of Ugandan organizations and schools.

The children clearly had a great time trying out various arts and science activities, and schools proudly presented their performance troupes on the main stage.

Tugende Mu Kikadde:

Last Saturday (May 5, 2018) all roads led to the Tugende Mu Kikadde concert that was held at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

The event was attended by a great crowd of revelers including city tycoons, celebrities, socialites and government officials.

Uganda’s oldest band – Afrigo Band and other legendary artistes like Eddy Yawe, Sophie and Sam Gombya among others took the crowd back in time with their great performances.

Blankets and Wine 19th Edition

Blankets and Wine’s Kampala 19th edition which took place on Sunday May 6th at the Lugogo Cricket Oval, can be counted among those, which left everlasting impressions on whoever showed up.

Revelers started arriving at the Tusker Malt Sponsored event as early as 2:00PM clad in trendy attires, exhibiting fashion as a facet of Blankets and wine with African wear as the theme.

Rwanda`s The Ben, popular for his collabo with Sheebah `Binkolera`, Luga-flow rapper Fik Fameica and renowned South African Dj and producer Heavy K among other acts put up great performances.

Zzina Beach Carnival 2018:

Galaxy FM’s Zzina Beach Carnival 2018 had the biggest crowd of revelers amongst all the events that took place last weekend as thousands stormed the venue, Lido Beach – Entebbe on Sunday May 6th, 2018.

Besides enjoying the waters at the beach, revelers were treated to energetic performances from top Ugandan musicians including Jose Chameleone, Sheebah Karungi and Fik Fameica among others.

The event went on till late.
