Pulse Series Review: More (Important) Deaths as Game of Thrones Nears a Bloody End

Latest News | 2019-05-06

As usual, I’ll try so hard not to serve spoilers in this article for those that haven’t watched this episode except for times when I can not avoid it. Like they say in the series, ‘when you play the Game of Thrones, you either win or you die’ and Cersei knows this very well. She told Jaime in Season 7;

“Fight and die or surrender and die, I know my chances. A soldier should know his.”

After defeating the Night King at the battle for Winterfell, the North seems ready to move on to other battles but they’re heavily wounded and greatly reduced. Sir Jorah Momont and Theon Greyjoy are no more and the Dothraki and Unsullied are half their numbers, if not a quarter for the former since we all witnessed how the walkers silenced their battle screams in record time.

With that background, the Dragon Queen descends on Kings Landing and she is really not ready for what awaits her. But then, is anyone ready? The deaths in this episode are what will lead to the epic battle that we expect in Episode 5 which Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) hinted about herself on Jimmy Kimmel.

As usual the conversations are to their best, we get to find out one of the greatest sexual scams in the series involving a brothel and a squire. Some Knights that have always been virgins lose their virginity and get heartbroken almost instantly when they discover they cannot be with their loved ones all in just 78 minutes running time.
