Get Revved Up with F9

If this movie sounds familiar, that’s because it is. You have probably watched it’s 8 prequels and you are wondering why the producers still bother making more of them. But get this, racing never gets old. With new effects, new technology and new cars, the movies only get better. F9, however much it sounds like F1, isn’t about those tiny cars, with big engines, that go about a race track. F9 is the 9th installment of the hit Fast and Furious movies, not that poor grade from highschool we all loathed. Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris return for this one and they are joined by John Cena, Jason Statham and Michelle Rodriguez. You guessed right, it is about cars, again.

Go on an Adventure with Luca

You have probably seen Jacob Tremblay star in Wonder, a 2017 movie starring Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson. However, in this one you will only hear the 14 year old Canadian voicing the lead character Luca, who is a sea monster that turns into a land creature when he gets out of the water. The Pixar animated film is set in Italy and pays homepage to Italian culture and folklore that uses the term sea monster to identify some one who feels different. This movie will definitely sprinkle some colour to your summer.

The Misfits

We all love a good heist film, albeit the lead characters being bad guys who usually steal from badder guys, The misfits is no exception. A band of thieves comes together to recruit a world renowned thief to help them access gold bars that are stashed away under a maximum security prison. The thief in question is no stranger to the big screens. Pierce Brosnan is arguably the most famous James Bond actor and he is not only an actor in this one, but also one of the executive directors. The cast is star studded with actors like Nick Cannon, Rami Jaber, Hermione Cornfield and Jamie Chung amongst others.

Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard

If you loved the Hitman’s Bodyguard, you shall definitely love the Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L Jackson return and this time they are joined again by Salma Hayek (the Hitman’s wife) in a more advanced role. The action comedy movie will have you on the edge of your seats hitting away at your nails while leaving you in stitches. Reynolds with his somewhat unconventional methods, Jackson with his questional choice of words and Hayek with an infectious funny demeanor team up to stop a villain from reeking havoc across Europe. This movie was released this June so we are  pretty sure you will be the first to catch a glimpse of it in your squad.

Get up to Speed with Keanu Reeves

Every body loves Keanu Reeves, and we are very sure that no body would want to mess with his dog, if that day he goes by the name John Wick. In Speed, Keanu teams up with Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper to deliver a fast paced performance that catapulted the actor to stardom, which culminated in the 1999 hit movie, The Matrix. Released in 1994, this movie is probably predates most of our existence but it was so dope, it would feel like you are watching it for the very first time if you have watched it before, and if you haven’t, get into a time machine and travel back to 1994 to see how Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock jump hurdle to keep a bus, whose speedometer shouldn’t drop below 55 miles per hour lest it explodes, from going up in flames.
