Shazam is undoubtedly DC’s most joyful and light-toned movie since the days of Christopher Reeve’s Superman. It’s a fun packed story about a boy who learns that by shouting out one word – SHAZAM he can turn into the adult superhero Shazam.

It’s the kind of superhero film that makes you want to have superpowers. This might seem like an obvious thing for all superhero films to do, but with so many world-ending catastrophes, the sheer awesomeness of powers sometimes gets lost. Well, with Shazam!, you get the classics of the genre a charming superhero vs. an intense villain along with many unexpected surprises and cameos.

The movie is expected to cross a billion despite the competition from Marvel’s EndGame expected to drop in two weeks or so. But with Shazam, Only time will tell if it will stick it’s ground as the fun family movie we all longed for from DC Comics.
