Pulse Plot: Where to Hangout This Easter Weekend

Latest News | 2021-04-03

The Easter Holiday, being a a family one, there are places that would make the get together and celebrations worthwhile. It is going to be hard to list them one by one but a generalization will do.

1. Fancy Food Restaurants
What better time to take a break from home food than during the Easter Holiday! You’ve been probably taking only your boyfriend/girlfriend to fancy dinner dates and doing the same with your family can really cut the difference.

Café Javas, Food Hub, Capital Kitchen, Plum Cafe and Restaurant in Naalya, et all, are some of the fancy restaurants within and around Kampala.

The goal is to go out of the usual home environment to create a fresher memory with your loved ones for the Easter Holiday!

2. Beach Plot
Uganda, being a landlocked country, is not big on beaches but we try – because we have Lake Victoria, one of the biggest fresh water lakes in the world.

Entebbe, Mukono and even Masaka (generally any district that boarders the big mass of land has a hang out place that has been modified to create a beach.)

Even with last year’s record flooding levels, some beaches have been able to compromise and still reserve some space for sand. White Sand beach, in Entebbe, among others is such a place.

3. Visit Uganda
Then there is this! Uganda is blessed by nature, a drive or tour to any part of the country will set you up with some really beautiful scenery; historical places, game, and organized fun activities such as quad-biking, white water rafting on the Nile, bungee jumping, etc

From Central Uganda itself, across to every other region of the country; there’s always something unique with the country’s set up. Let alone the culture!

A tour of the country with family or friends, (with the right people) is very memorable for a holiday like Easter.

4. Home
Yes, that’s also an option. You can organize a family get together. Sounds like a cheaper option, but to carefully plan it out and execute, you’ll need some money.

Call family and friends over, prepare a picnic, luncheon or dinner and catch up. Fun conversations down memory lane with purely brighten your Easter season.

The options here are not the alpha and omega of fun activities to do this Easter season. You could still figure out other activities by yourself to achieve the ultimate goal, having fun!
