Pulse Rewind: Phionah Kyeru Glamorously Crowned 2019 Miss Tourism Uganda

Bridget Phionah Kyeru, a 22 year old girl from Iganga District in Eastern Uganda was last Friday crowned the 2019 Miss Tourism Uganda Pageant winner.

She became the Face of Uganda Tourism after beating 24 other competitors for the crown after weeks in a boot camp preparing for the finale.

This year’s edition honoured the late Minister of Tourism Dr. Miria Mutagamba for her dedication towards reviving the pageant after years of a spell and no action from the organisers.

The winner (Phionah Kyeru) won herself a white Noah from Pemba Sports Africa, a land title from Seema Properties and she will have an estate named after her – among other advantages and good things she’ll get from winning the crown.

Prissy Premah Agwang, a student at YMCA was the first runner up and Kyambogo’s Jean Coprise Akullo was crowned second runners up.
