Pulse Rewind: Revellers Flock Jinja Bridge for Evoke Party
Latest News | 2019-07-15
On Saturday 13th July, Evoke Night made their second upcountry edition after Mbarara in May and hit the Stone City – Jinja for the party under the bridge.
Set up at Forever Resort, just below the new Jinja Bridge, #NeonAtTheBridge2 was an add to the first party by Evoke at the bridge earlier this year with the difference being in theme colours.
This edition was themed blue because of Evoke Season 3 sponsors Club Pilsener that changed everything in outlook and set for the better.
With rivers flowing of Club beers, the revelers that made trips from Kampala for this party were treated to a warm reception from their counterparts based in Jinja.
The highlight of the night was the performance by rap sensation John Blaq after rounds of performances by Evoke talents in dance, rap, beat boxing, spoken word, the Evoke Band and hosted by KFM’s Maritza.
“This is the second time we are in Jinja and every time we get better. We hold these upcountry shows to give people outside of Kampala a taste of the monthly parties we hold in Kampala in a bid to awaken their desires to portray talent that Evoke seeks to give a platform to” Jeremiah Ainebyona, the Lead of Comms at Evoke told MTN Pulse.
He said the next edition of Evoke will be in Kampala at the usual 20K on a date and venue that will be announced.
