Patricia Zoe Zawedde, famously known as Zoe Omwisiki on social media has found the perfect way to use her love for numbers to earn big bucks off influencer marketing and content creation. The professional accountant and auditor started out small, taking on free gigs until she got the much-needed recognition from clients. “I started in 2018, my first gigs were actually probonos and I enjoyed doing it. Content creation is something I love doing at any time…I have done quite many campaigns both as an influencer and PR.”

Born and raised in Kampala by her mother, Zoe attributes most of her achievements to her and she says her mother is her everything. The Kyambogo alumnus says that even though she loves accounting and auditing, she has enjoyed benefits from digital marketing and communications that she would otherwise not find in a traditional accounting firm office. “…the social capital is amazingly big and lots of opportunities.  Met amazing people who are now my mentors and friends.” She is fully determined to pursue this career and that’s why she told us that she hopes to set up a PR firm of her own in future.

Zoe is always spotted wearing an infectious smile so we decided to ask her what inspires her to always keep smiling.
