Fresh Hits Monday: Fik Fameica, Vinka Collabo Out as Rapper Pryce Teeba Releases 3-Song Project

Latest News | 2018-05-28

Young rapper Pryce Teeba has finally released his new 3-song project which hit the airwaves of radios across town over the weekend.

Dubbed “Just Another”, the project showcases his distinctly cool, chilled out rhymes and modified rhythms.

The tracks see Pryce’s catchy vocals weaving above well-crafted trap instrumental beats, as piano, synth and percussion neatly intertwine.

Among the songs is ‘Omollo’, a track originally sung by Kaligrah Jones from Kenya, ‘Not my friends’ which was originally a beat by South Africa’s MashBeatz and Tsunami which was originally done by Kaaty Perry.

Tsunami is a more upbeat version titled “Respect”, a nod to the “Who’s Who” trend that took over UG hip-hop early this year.

The young pulser, also ‘Trap and Hiphop Mayor’ like he calls himself has been penning new material since early 2016.

He continues to work on “Kash Crop” mixtape, project he has been working on since 2016. The mixtape, according to sources from Dustville Studio is soon to be unleashed to his international audience.

Just like we had reported last week, the much hyped Tubikole audio by Fresh Bwoy Fik Fameica and Vinka is also out.

In the song, Vinka and Fik Fameica depict a young person who was living under control but has finally become free.

‘Tubikole’ is a Luganda word that means ‘let’s do them.’
