MTN Pulse Adds Oomph to AIESEC, Annual Youth Week 2021

The Youth Week is an annual event organized by AIESEC in Uganda comprising of activities running across Universities in Uganda like Makerere, Kyambogo, MUBS, and UCU.

The purpose of the week is to inspire young people in university to realize and reach their full potential. The theme of this year’s youth week is “Owning the present, shaping the future and leading the change in the new normal.”

Different brilliant pulsers from the different universities come together for four days in a week of massive engagements, which started on 5th May at MUBS, Nakawa with Jumia C.E.O Ron Kawamara and Galaxy FM proprietor Dr. Innocent Nahabwe taking lead with stories of the next billionaire.

On 6th May, the week will move to Kyambogo university with Nauma Shamim, founder Chil Artificial Intelligence Lab, Namanya Brian Founder Tubayo and other speakers taking the pulsers through the topic; “skills for modern youth”.

On 7th May, James Segawa, Managing Director Movit, Patrick Ayota, Deputy Managing Director of NSSF will hold a talk at Makerere University under the theme; “The secrets behind money”.

At the end of the day, pulsers will be initiated onto a journey of self-awareness and personal development through the empowerment in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and the digital era with knowledge and skills acquired first hand from prominent personalities on the panels.
