Reasons You Should Attend #ShoNaLe

Latest News | 2019-08-14

This year’s Shorts Na Lessu (#ShoNaLe) is going down on 24th August, 2019 at Ddungu Resort, Munyonyo Lakeside. This highly anticipated concert must have been running in your faces all over social media and maybe you didn’t clearly get a reason to attend, but ‘fear no more’.

Did you see what I did up there? MTN Pulse is on this one and that means just one thing – #NoFear. Let’s give you 5 reasons you shouldn’t miss this year’s edition.

5. Guvnor After Party
The after party of this year’s ShoNaLe is at Guvnor and you don’t have to change clothes for this. Revelers will be admitted in their shorts and sandals for the after party. Exclusive treatment for you that day. Beautiful, not so?

4. UBL Products Will Be Allowed In
Not many concerts admit drinks from the outside. In fact, unless it’s the concept, you won’t get any other concert that will allow you to carry your Uganda Waragi Coconut bottle inside when they can sell it to you at the event. ShoNaLe will be admitting in drinks as long as they’re of the Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL) make.

3. Venue Ambiance and Atmosphere
The party is at a lakeside venue. That speaks for itself. Enjoying your day in the social enjoyment of friends, good vibe, music and fresh water lake air. Lake Victoria is the biggest fresh water lake on the continent and it will be literally at your feet. Think about it, think.

2. Line-up of DJs
Uganda’s biggest turn table maestros in the recent times will be at ShoNaLe. DJ Irakoze to provide a youthful touch, Lagum and DJ Ssese teaming up with Ciza to burn the place up. If you have been to an event with any of these guys or listened to their mixes, you know they have the ability to transform a dull moody evening into the best day of your life. So brace yourselves.

1. Finally, Nonso Amadi
Nigerian crooner Nonso Amadi is headlining the event. There will be a lineup of Ugandan talent that will tease your night away, just before Nonso Amadi gets on the stage. When we asked him what to expect, he said “fireworks”. Not the usual fireworks but a performance akin to that description. He is ready to shut it down and so will be the other acts that night.

If your mind is not yet convinced to attend by now, just get your ticket from quicket.co.ug at 50K early bird and 80K on the gate.
