The 4-block weekend is here and except praying, visiting loved ones, sleeping all day, what else do you have planned to help you go through the long weekend. I don’t know about you but i know i will need series and movies to to catch up on. For all movies freaks, here is a list to help you sail through.

Disclaimer: There might be spoilers ahead

The irregulars. This is for the slow burn and mystery lovers. This show delves into the lives of 5 teenage Misfits who investigate a series of supernatural crimes in Victorian London for Dr. Watson and his shadowy associate, Sherlock Holmes. It is a new release on Netflix that is a must watch.

Godzilla Vs Kong. Released last week, this movie is scoring well on metacritic and rotten tomatoes. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home. Along for the ride is Jia, an orphaned girl who has a unique and powerful bond with the mighty beast. However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe. Want to see how this plot unfolds? fall in.

Falcon and the winter soldier. Did Avengers Endgame leave you in great suspense for what happened to individual characters? well this series will explore Falcon and the Winter Soldier as a mismatched duo who team up for a global adventure that will test their survival skills as well as their patience.

Debris. When mysterious wreckage starts falling from the sky, a secretive international agency is tasked with figuring out what it is, where it came from, and most importantly, what it can do. Does this remind you of The 100? It should and oh…The 100 season 7 in now available on Netflix.

Generation. As it is now an open reality, many young people are dealing with challenges regarding their sexuality and to expound on that is the classic TV show Generation. It’s about High school students that explore modern sexuality, testing deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.

I care a lot. What’s a long list of movies/series to watch without some thriller comedy in it?! This A-lister is about a shady legal guardian lands in hot water when she tries to bilk a woman who has ties to a powerful gangster.

Justice League: Snyder’s cut. Zack Snyder’s Justice league has been one of the most awaited movies. The warner Bros gave you this one with one heart. The 4 hours long movie is about Bruce Wayne enlisting a new ally Diana Prince to face great threats. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy.

Behind her eyes. it has been talked about by many people and from what is said, this seems a great series. My opinion on this is that you really need to watch this. Like yesterday. This series explores the life of a single mother who enters a world of twisted mind games when she begins an affair with her psychiatrist boss while secretly befriending his mysterious wife.

I may destroy you. For this long weekend, one needs some HBO drama series in their life. After being sexually assaulted in a nightclub, Arabella’s life changes irreversibly and she is forced to reassess everything, including her career, friends and family. Definitely worth it.

Fate: The Winx Saga. Fairies attend a magical boarding school in the Otherworld, where they must learn to master their magical powers while navigating love, rivalries and the monsters that threaten their very existence

Motherland: Fort Salem. Quite old from 2020, this banger is about a group of teens who ended their persecution by cutting a deal with the government to use magic in the service of national security, they are now enlisted at an early age to train in combat witchcraft under the steely discipline of an all-female command.
