J Cole’s “KOD” album goes Platinum without any feature

Jermaine Lamarr Cole alias J. Cole has made his fans proud again and it’s with no doubt that they have reclaimed their bragging rights.

His fifth studio album, “KOD” has gone platinum without out any feature and that’s so Cole, you know!  Cole has pretty much coined the phrase “platinum with no features” after his poppin’ “2014 Forest Hills Drive” album and “4 Your Eyez Only,” went platinum.

Prior to “KOD” release, the rapper who was born in Frankurt, Germany revealed that the album had three specific meanings — Kids on Drugs, King Overdosed and Kill Our Demons.

He released his fifth studio album “KOD” days after turning the internet ablaze with the announcement of the new music without releasing any single off it before. He managed to have the internet buzzing in anticipation and the album would later become an instant success as most of the songs hit in the top 10 including a number one position on Billboard 200.
