As it had been anticipated by many to be a great partying evening, Friday 28th September didn’t disappoint. It had electrifying performances from a prearranged line up with impeccable names of musicians and Deejays on it for the TidalxMTN Ware house party that was featuring Jamaica’s Reggae and Dancehall artiste Kranium and Nigeria’s Dj Spinall who undeniably according to the words and posts of party goers on to their social media pages, exceeded the revelers’ expectations throughout the night.
The party started at 7pm as there were performances from the dynamic deejay duo of Slick Stuart and Roja, Bennie Gunter, and it latter would be a cheerful moment for many when Kranium and Dj Spinall set their feet on stage as the main acts of the night.

Thursday 27th September, MTN Uganda and Tidal, a global music streaming platform hosted musicians, Deejays,Music Producers,promoters and artiste managers for a Digital revolution conference at the third street based The Square Place.
The ethos of the conference was to share ideas from industry thought affiliates who have gained much from the revolution and to guide,empower Ugandan musicians and producers on how to manage their digital music rights,copyrights, contracts and digital music marketing in this new generation where the world of music has evolved following the change in digital and technology advancements and how artistes can take on the opportunities and overcome the challenges to ensure an optimal and a successful journey in their careers.
Nigeria’s Sodamola Oluseye Desmond aka DJ SPINALL and Jamaica’s Kemar Donaldson popularly known as Kranium made an appearance at the conference where they addressed the participants and networked freely with them. The duo will perform live at the TidalxMTN Ware house set for today starting 7pm.

As he is set to perform live in Uganda on September 28th at the MTNxTidal concert, today MTN Pulse will profile the Jamaican reggae artiste Kranium to expound more on the artiste’s extraordinary musical career.
Who is Kranium?
Kranium alias Kemar Donaldson Born on August 12th 1990 is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer better known for his hit single “Nobody Has To Know” that he released in 2013 which gave him an international recognition and led him to the Atlantic Records record label. Kranium comes from a musical family with his uncle Screwdriver having been a famous reggae artist in the late 1990s.
In 2005, Kranium left his birthplace in Montego Bay, Jamaica and moved to Miami in the United States from where he started his career in reggae and dancehall music with a series of appearances in New York City and the tri-state area. like any other upcoming artiste, The ‘Nobody Has To Know’ soloist curtain raised shows for Gyptian, Serani, I-Octane and Tarrus Riley, an act that introduced him to the world.
After an intense scouting and falling in love with his talent, Atlantic Records signed Kranium and it is from there that he released his debut single titled “Nobody Has To Know.”
The song, “Nobody Has to Know”, produced by PLMR Productions, boasts over 50 Million views on YouTube and has sold more than 39,000 copies as of today peaking at no. 32 on the Reggae Digital Songs chart.

Over the weekend, one of the world’s biggest music festival “Made In America Concert” took place in Philadelphia with a cheerful and fashionable crowd that came through to feel and experience every bit of the performance from their favorite artists.
The two day festival kicked off on Saturday with performances from Meek Mill, Fat Joe, Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, Post Malone,Davido,Janelle Monae,Zedd, and it would later on Sunday be closed by epic performances from Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj, the later who in the history of the event, was the first female artist to headline the Made In America music Festival.

It was a thrilling evening on Wednesday 22 August at The chief club Bukoto as history was made when MTN uganda launched a first in Africa (TIDAL), a global music and video streaming platform that enables pulsers to enjoy full access of music from their favorite Artistes both locally and internationally.
TIDAL is a dope and catchy platform formed to create a better future for emerging musicians as well as a better listening experience for music lovers therefore pulsers can now stream TIDAL Music from both Smart Mobile Devices including Smartphones, Tablets and Desktops as the service is available on both Android and iOS devices.
