Every first Sunday of the month, the amazing songstress Jemimah Sanyu and her band, the unit 446 plays amazing songs starting at 5pm.

For those who are too busy throughout the week, there is a market day at the Lake Grill every Sunday.

Acrobatics happen every Second Sunday of the month at the Lakeside.

There are also Zumba fitness classes every Monday and Wednesday at 6:30PM and every Saturday at 8:30PM.

There is also draught beer at the Lake Grill for only 7000 UGX

With these benefits, having a chill out is definitely something worth considering. The best part is that Speke Resort Munyonyo offers these at a very affordable price.

Speke Resort Munyonyo reclaims the annual Goat Races show

August 25th, 2018 stamped itself in the hearts of Kampala’s elite socialites, revelers and Pulsers as they saw the return of the Royal Ascot Goat Races, an event that had taken a break off the social scene after the 2012 episode.
The races were, hitherto, Uganda’s most popular social event and they arguably reclaimed that position after Saturday.

Hosted by their renown and usual home, Speke Resort Munyonyo, the races gave revelers a lake side breeze that was not even interrupted by an afternoon downpour. With its unique sporty fashion theme, this year’s Goat Races were powered by beverage powerhouse, Tusker Malt Lager among others.

The races aside, there were prizes awarded throughout the event to be won among revelers and amongst them the big win for best dressed couple being a return air ticket to Dubai.

Performances from Bebe Cool, Fik Fameica and dancer Wembley occupied the later time of the evening
